Global Computer Sales is seeking a motivated and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys building relationships, sourcing deals, and closing profitable hardware transactions.
This role focuses on developing customer and vendor relationships, sourcing and brokering IT hardware as well as driving new business through proactive outreach and account management. Successful candidates will be comfortable working independently, actively prospecting new opportunities, and building long-term relationships with vendors and customers.
This role offers strong earning potential through commissions and bonuses in addition to base salary.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of sales opportunities while working toward established performance targets.
- Monitor industry activity, product demand, and pricing trends to uncover new sales opportunities.
- Identify and develop new wholesale opportunities within assigned product categories and geographic territories.
- Actively prospect and engage vendors, customers, and potential partners through cold outreach, networking, and industry platforms.
- Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, email campaigns, messaging platforms, and broker networks.
- Present hardware solutions and recommend products based on customer requirements and purchasing goals.
- Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, quoting, negotiation, and closing deals while maintain consistent communication with prospects and clients to build long-term business relationships.
- Meet with customers virtually or in person to understand their technology needs and purchasing goals.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, product information, and issue resolution.
Vendor Relationships & Procurement
- Foster relationships with customers and vendors globally through approved wholesale platforms and WTB broadcasts.
- Utilize approved distribution partners to source and quote new hardware when required.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients to support repeat purchases and strengthen business partnerships.
- Generate and manage purchase orders and sales orders independently.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and customers to ensure competitive deals and strong margins.
- Coordinate internally to ensure accurate inventory management, quality control, and timely product delivery.
Account Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate customer and deal records using internal systems and CRM tools.
- Manage daily schedules and prospecting activity to ensure consistent follow-up with leads and accounts.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience in IT hardware sales preferred.
- Strong ability to prospect, build relationships, and close deals.
- Comfortable making calls, sending outreach emails, and engaging prospects through messaging platforms.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple deals simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM, Project Management Software, Seamless Ai, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
- Knowledge of IT hardware products and market pricing trends is a plus.
- Existing relationships or book of business is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings or industry events.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- Sales training or relevant industry certifications are a plus
Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based with occasional travel for client meetings and industry events. Candidates must be comfortable meeting customers at various locations as part of their sales efforts.
This is an in-office position only; remote work is not available.

42.5-hour work week
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $50,000 – $90,000 per year
