Position Overview
We are currently seeking a part-time to possible full ltime support staff member who is passionate about working with individuals with disabilities. In this role, you will directly assist clients in a variety of community settings, helping them achieve their individualized goals and enhance their quality of life. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to empower them to reach their fullest potential in a safe, professional, and compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to implement personalized habilitation goals designed to meet their unique needs.
- Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in diverse community settings.
- Assist clients in developing vital daily living, social, and vocational skills through structured and meaningful activities.
- Regularly assess client progress and adapt goals as necessary to ensure success.
- Work as part of a team to address any concerns and ensure a safe environment for all.
- Drive clients to and from community activities, appointments, and other necessary destinations.
What We're Looking For:
- A compassionate and dedicated individual with a strong passion for working with people with disabilities.
- Experience in caregiving, especially in assisting individuals with daily living activities.
- Knowledge of community care practices that promote independence and dignity.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
- CPR certification and a clean background check (including fingerprints) are required.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
