We are seeking a skilled and passionate Aesthetician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and a keen interest in beauty and wellness. As an Aesthetician, you will provide exceptional skincare treatments, promote our services, and ensure a welcoming environment for all clients. Your expertise in various aesthetic procedures will help enhance our clients' overall experience and satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform a variety of skincare treatments including facials, chemical peels, and body treatments tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough skin assessments to recommend appropriate services and products.
- Provide makeup application services as requested by clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and beautiful.
- Utilize MINDBODY software for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments efficiently.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided, with an emphasis on upselling to enhance client satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and hospitality, ensuring repeat visits.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and techniques to continually enhance service offerings.
- Assist with hair extension applications as needed, showcasing versatility in aesthetic services offered.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aesthetician or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
- Familiarity with MINDBODY software is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques and experience in upselling beauty products is preferred.
- Proficiency in makeup application techniques is a plus.
- Certification or licensure as an Aesthetician in accordance with state regulations is required.
- Experience or certification in Botulinum toxin treatment is advantageous but not necessary; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for building rapport with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
