We are seeking a mid-level attorney with a specialty in Construction Litigation. This is an opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a challenging environment, enjoys working on complex cases, and is eager to make a significant impact for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction-related disputes, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial. This role requires 5+ years of experience in the legal field, particularly in construction litigation.
Responsibilities:

Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting and reviewing pleadings, managing discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and conducting trials.

Develop effective litigation strategies and tactics based on thorough knowledge and understanding of construction law and litigation.

Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and provide strategic legal advice.

Advise clients on legal risks and opportunities associated with construction projects.

Manage relationships with external counsel, ensuring they deliver value for money and meet our standards of service.

Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and evidence necessary for litigation.

Maintain current knowledge of changes in legislation, case law, and industry trends affecting construction law and litigation.

Participate in business development activities, including client pitches and presentations.
Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.

2 years of experience practicing law with a focus on construction litigation.

Proven track record of successfully handling construction-related disputes from inception through trial.

Strong knowledge of construction law, contract law, and litigation procedures.

Excellent negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring quality.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.

Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.

Willingness to travel as needed for trials, hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
