The Analyst, Commercial Credit is responsible for managing, analyzing, and transforming commercial banking data into actionable insights that support strategic and day-to-day decision-making. This role develops and maintains dashboards, standardized reports, and analytics related to Commercial Banking loans, deposits, customers, households, related commercial services and products, and portfolio performance.
This role works closely with commercial leadership, relationship managers, credit, operations, and data teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and effective storytelling. This role enables a commercial 360° view through trusted metrics and insights aligned with business priorities, while supporting strategic initiatives and transformation efforts that drive growth and data-driven decision making.
This position will be working hybrid and is based in Oriental Center building, San Juan, PR.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Business, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field required.

Two (2+) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics or related roles required; experience within banking or financial services preferred.

Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.

Strong experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake, or similar platforms).

Solid understanding of commercial banking concepts, including loans, deposits, portfolios, and customer relationships preferred.

Proficiency in SQL and/or data modeling concepts highly preferred.

Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
