Dock Worker / Packager
Responsible for assisting with the daily shipping and receiving activities including preparation, documentation, and accuracy.
- Accurately complete paperwork which includes shipping confirmations, receiving confirmations, purchase orders, open orders, order check-off and FedEx.
- Pull and stage product for pick up.
- Band and package parts according to customer specifications.
- Load trucks with accurately counted and packaged parts.
- Monitor inventory of shipping materials and alert supervisor when supplies are low
- Perform other job functions as requested to support the effective and efficient operation of the plant.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two years experience working in a manufacturing setting with shipping/receiving experience.
- Forklift experience
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
