At-Home Care Company is dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality in-home care services to the residents of the Ankeny, Ames, and Story City, Iowa areas. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with their daily activities, while allowing them to maintain their independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
*At this time, we are looking for candidates who can assist clients 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am*
Duties
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide client care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in long-term care settings, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Assist individuals with disabilities by providing direct support and encouragement.
- Facilitate social interactions and community engagement for clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Lift and transfer clients safely as needed, following proper techniques to ensure safety for both the caregiver and the client.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in the home.
- Document client progress and any changes in condition, communicating effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
Skills
- Experience in long-term care settings is preferred but not required (we can train you!).
- Ability to provide direct support for individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
