About the Role
As a Mobile Heavy Equipment Technician, you will serve as a vital technical expert responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of complex lifting and transport machinery. You will leverage your expertise in hydraulics and electrical diagnostics to minimize downtime, ensuring our clients' equipment remains safe, compliant, and highly productive in the field.
Responsibilities-
Execute complex field repairs and advanced troubleshooting on articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, and heavy-duty trailers.

Drive equipment reliability by performing rigorous preventive maintenance and mandatory annual DOT safety inspections.

Provide rapid-response support for emergency mechanical failures to restore critical site operations.

Act as a technical liaison by clearly communicating repair status and mechanical requirements to fleet managers and site supervisors.

Maintain precise service records, including work order documentation, parts procurement, and labor tracking to ensure operational transparency.

Uphold the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance across all job sites and service activities.

Manage your mobile workspace and company vehicle to ensure efficiency and professional presentation.
Qualifications-
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems repair.

Proven proficiency in heavy equipment diagnostics, including welding and complex circuit troubleshooting.

Must possess or be able to obtain a valid CDL within 60 days of hire.

Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting 75+ lbs and working in diverse weather conditions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Prior experience specifically with articulating cranes or industrial lift trucks.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a field environment.
