We are seeking a dependable and energetic Phlebotomist / Laboratory Assistant whose work will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and accurate diagnostic results to our community.
This position is part-time with the intent to transition into a full-time role as volume and business needs grow.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws, assisting with specimen collection—including toxicology and drug testing—processing samples, and supporting daily lab operations. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills will help create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws using venipuncture and other approved collection methods while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Collect specimens for a variety of tests, including toxicology and drug/alcohol screenings, following proper chain-of-custody procedures when required
- Accurately collect, label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by clearly communicating with patients and guiding them through the testing process
- Monitor patient condition during collections and respond appropriately to ensure safety
- Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques at all times
- Support daily lab operations, including inventory management, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Assist with data entry, test ordering, and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in phlebotomy and/or a clinical laboratory setting preferred
- Experience or familiarity with toxicology collections and drug testing procedures (DOT/non-DOT) preferred
- Strong knowledge of venipuncture and specimen collection techniques
- Familiarity with specimen handling, processing, and laboratory procedures
- Understanding of medical terminology, basic anatomy, and vital signs
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently while following detailed protocols and maintaining accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
- Prior experience in a patient-facing healthcare environment is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
