Duties
- Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Support childhood development by engaging in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social skills
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap times for young children
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation
- Collaborate with families and team members to develop individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Use early childhood education techniques to support developmental milestones and foster curiosity
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including feeding routines and developmental activities
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children
- Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification required
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, children, and team members
