Help families protect what they've built and leave a lasting legacy — on your own schedule, from anywhere. Harbor Point Financial is looking for driven, self-motivated people who want to build something of their own while doing work that genuinely matters: helping clients secure their retirement and protect their families' futures with life insurance and annuities.
This is a fully remote, independent (1099) role with real flexibility and genuinely uncapped income. We provide best-in-class training and support — no prior insurance experience required. What we can't provide is the drive. That part is on you, and it's exactly what separates the people who thrive here from the people who don't.
Let's be upfront about the pay
This role is 100% commission. There is no base salary and no hourly pay. We're telling you this first, on purpose, because it's the single most important thing to understand before you apply.
Here's the honest picture: your income is uncapped, which means your effort sets your ceiling — not a manager and not a pay band. But it also means there's no floor. New agents typically see their first commission within 30–60 days of getting licensed and started. What you earn after that depends entirely on the work you put in.
If you're looking for a steady, predictable paycheck, this is not the right fit, and that's okay — better to know now. But if you've ever wanted to bet on yourself and be paid for what you actually produce, keep reading.
What you'll do
- Connect with clients to understand their retirement and protection needs
- Recommend and place life insurance and annuity solutions that fit those needs
- Build and manage your own pipeline with the support of our systems and tools
- Work your own hours, fully remote, from anywhere with reliable internet
What we provide
- Best-in-class training and mentorship — we'll teach you the business from the ground up
- A proven system and tools to help you generate and work leads
- Genuinely uncapped commission with no income ceiling
- Full schedule flexibility — build this full-time or part-time
- The chance to do meaningful work that protects families and secures retirements
Who we're looking for
This role rewards a specific kind of person. You'll thrive here if you are:
- A genuine self-starter — you stay disciplined and productive without anyone managing your day
- Entrepreneurial — you've wanted to run something of your own, and you're comfortable that your income reflects your output
- A strong communicator — you connect easily with people and genuinely enjoy helping them
- Coachable — you're willing to follow a proven process while you build your skills
- Resilient — you understand that a commission-based business takes consistent effort before it compounds
Background doesn't matter nearly as much as drive. Some of our best advisors came from completely unrelated fields. What they had in common was initiative and the willingness to be coached.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States
- A state life insurance license is required to sell — if you're not licensed yet, we'll guide you through the process (licensing involves state and third-party fees paid directly to those providers)
- Reliable internet and a quiet, professional space to work remotely
- Self-motivated and comfortable with a commission-based, performance-driven income structure
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and tell us what drew you to the role.
