Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of routine and complex work in organizing, storing and moving raw materials, supplies and products within the facility.
Essential Functions:
Organize warehouses (dry and temperature controlled) to ensure the most economical use of time and equipment and accessibility of product and supplies in accordance with guidelines set forth by the Logistics Director
Shipping & receiving at SKB’s downtown campus
Deliver cases and kegs of beer, spirits, and miscellaneous tap room and brewery materials to accounts and all SKB locations in Indiana (Airport, Westfield, Kokomo, Mishawaka, Carmel and Fishers)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of on-site and off-site storage facility, as well as outside storage areas at SKB downtown campus
Conduct and report on-site and off-site inventory to Logistics Director as requested
Track and report all inventory picking and/or movements at all SKB locations
Maintain necessary invoices/documentation of deliveries and distributions
Keep delivery vehicles clean inside and out, as well as drive in the safest manner at all times, while complying with all state and federal laws
Collect payment upon delivery of product, as necessary
Provide excellent customer service to all accounts and business partners
Other duties as assigned
Competencies:
Valid Indiana operator’s license, clean driving record, CDL physical exam and drug screening
Valid liquor license, electric pallet jack and forklift certification (Electric and Propane)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and OneDrive)
Superior attention to detail and ability to work independently
Able to maintain effective relationships with accounts and clients
Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
Able to read a map and accurately plan a route
Lift/carry/maneuver heavy materials or equipment (up to 150 lbs.)
Education, Experience, Licenses and Certifications:
High school diploma/GED preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
