Spark Capital is a rapidly growing real estate investment company that acquires residential properties throughout the United States. We are seeking a motivated and driven Junior Acquisitions Specialist to join our team and help identify and acquire off-market investment opportunities.
This position is ideal for individuals with sales, customer service, appointment-setting, or call center experience who enjoy building relationships, negotiating, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
As a Junior Acquisitions Specialist, you will communicate directly with homeowners, identify motivated sellers, gather property information, and help negotiate property acquisitions. You will play a key role in generating new opportunities and helping the company grow its portfolio of investment properties.
Responsibilities
- Contact homeowners regarding the sale of their properties.
- Build rapport and identify seller motivation.
- Gather property details and update records in the CRM.
- Follow up with leads via phone, text, and email.
- Assist with negotiating purchase agreements.
- Maintain accurate notes and pipeline updates.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
- Work closely with the Disposition and Transaction Coordination teams.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Sales, cold calling, appointment setting, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone.
- Goal-oriented and motivated by performance-based incentives.
- Highly organized with strong follow-up skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Real estate investing or wholesaling experience is a plus but not required.
