We take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and customized solutions for our clients. We are looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team and help bring dream spaces to life!
Position Overview
The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for overseeing remodeling projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, and leading a team to successfully complete jobs on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of carpentry and flooring installation, and the ability to plan and execute projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Perform skilled carpentry work, including framing, trim, and cabinetry installation
- Install flooring, including hardwood, LVP, laminate, and tile
- Plan daily job site activities, ensuring materials and tools are available
- Supervise and mentor junior carpenters and laborers
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
- Ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget
- Maintain a safe and clean job site
Bonus Skills & Experience:
- Tile installation (backsplash, flooring, showers)
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Basic plumbing (installing sinks, faucets, toilets)
- Light electrical work (installing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of carpentry experience, including leadership roles
- Proficiency in flooring installation and general remodeling techniques
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
