We are looking for an experienced, outgoing, and professional Maître D with 3+ years of full-service restaurant experience. OpenTable experience is preferred.
Maître D Responsibilities:
- Greet Guests and provide a warm, welcoming experience
- Manage and coordinate Guest reservations and seating
- Make, adjust, and cancel reservations
- Manage the Host team and ensure smooth seating throughout service
- Coordinate large parties and special seating arrangements
- Answer Guest questions regarding food, drinks, specials, and restaurant information
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette and Guest service
- Communicate Guest concerns and complaints to management
- Maintain an organized and efficient Host stand
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant environment
- Previous Maître D or Host leadership experience preferred
- OpenTable experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask while maintaining excellent Guest service
- Weekend availability required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
