Responsibilities:
- Stock merchandise and supplies in accordance with company standards
- Use point-of-sale (POS) system to process purchasing transactions
-Deliver Catering items to customers and pick up supplies. Company Van.
Clean and Clear Driving record required.
- Maintain a clean warehouse and sales floor area including janitorial.
- Access inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies
- Certification in forklift use for unloading semi truck deliveries to our back dock.
- Demonstrate ability to track and promote Market and Deli items.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks as assigned
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding merchandising, customer service, and vehicle safety
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a retail or merchandising role is preferred
- Strong attention to item sales and the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in ability to work well under pressure
- Basic knowledge of inventory control principles
- Ability to work efficiently independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
