Shop Manager / Parts Manager

We are seeking an experienced and organized Shop Manager / Parts Manager to join our collision repair facility. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily shop operations, managing parts procurement, coordinating production, and ensuring an efficient workflow throughout the repair process.
Responsibilities
- Order, track, receive, and manage automotive parts from:
- OEM dealerships
- Aftermarket suppliers
- LKQ vendors
- Recycled parts vendors
- Verify parts accuracy, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain an organized parts department and inventory system.
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain parts-related records.
- Oversee daily shop operations and production flow.
- Serve as the shop foreman and coordinate daily activities with technicians.
- Monitor repair progress and ensure vehicles move efficiently through the repair process.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and parts-related delays.
- Ensure technicians have the necessary parts and resources to complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an auto body shop, collision center, dealership, or automotive repair facility required.
- Strong knowledge of OEM, aftermarket, LKQ, and recycled parts sourcing.
- Experience ordering and managing automotive parts.
- Understanding of collision repair processes and shop operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent data entry and computer skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.

- Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Parts Manager, Shop Manager, Production Manager, or Shop Foreman.
- Familiarity with collision repair management software.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair procedures and manufacturer repair standards.
- Dealership or automotive industry experience strongly preferred.
