POSITION SUMMARY
SPRQ is the proprietary brokerage underwriting platform used by the brokerage underwriters of IFG Companies. The SPRQ Integration Specialist, ("SIS"), will play a crucial role assisting in the development and implementation of solutions which increase user productivity and support operational and strategic changes across our SPRQ and Clearance applications. The SIS will assist in the ongoing effort to improve the user experience, reviewing and validating data sources, identifying trends and leveraging data to productivity and business process efficiencies.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING

Share responsibility for monitoring daily and weekly newly arising IT incidents and service request tickets related to SPRQ, the Clearance Application and associated business processes.

Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and system reports.

Conduct ad hoc analysis to investigate ongoing or one-time system issues, following the item through to their successful resolution with IT or user community.

Demonstrate full competency in system functionality and business processes which support Primary Casualty, Excess Casualty, Inland Marine and Clearance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into user stories.

Assist in administering the SPRQ Enhancement email box, vetting new suggestions through existing department processes, acknowledging initial and final disposition of items to users who submitted suggestions.

Identify and communicate opportunities to enhance platform features to further improve user experience.

Sustain ongoing initiatives to identify gaps in training and operational procedures, based on metrics derived from incident reports and user feedback, with the aim of increasing efficiency and productivity of users.

Support end-users on new system updates to ensure a smooth adoption process.

Support and facilitate training material and workshop content creation.

Follow up on key actions after training and workshops until desired outcomes have been achieved.

Coordinate and assist in executing testing process for system changes throughout development lifecycle to include scheduling test cycles, collaborate with translating business requirements into test cases, writing test cases, consulting with partners in test plan reviews to ensure plans address requirements and execute test plan for all applications integrated with SPRQ.

Participate in estimated two (2)-week QA and User Acceptance Testing (“UAT”) testing cycle.

Review and validate tests during the QA cycle, ensuring they align with defined requirements and business objectives.

Review and assess test plans during the UAT phase to confirm they meet the needs of end-users and stakeholders.

Write release notes and review them with the Integration Manager in advance before a release cycle.

Provide weekend post-deployment support after any system release or any update that is integrated with S Platform or tied any features or functions tied to S platform that may affect it.

Participate in Smoke Testing to ensure that critical system functionalities are working as expected after deployment.

Provide weekend post-deployment support following any system release or updates integrated with the SPRQ platform or related functions, ensuring stability and addressing any post-deployment issues.

Participate, as directed, in IFG’s Project Sage initiative through the analysis of activity and the development of Proof of Concepts (“POCs”), business requirements, test cases and implementation planning.

Assist and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvements in user productivity through the integration of new tools, technologies, or processes.

Support the continuous improvement of user workflows within the SPRQ platform and Clearance application, ensuring efficiency and alignment with business goals.

Utilize data-driven insights to make recommendations for system enhancements and process optimizations, ensuring the integration solutions are impactful and effective.

Work closely with business analysts, developers, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project phases.

Refine Business Process Management Systems (“BPMS”) to capture and optimize workflows, ensuring that integration activities are streamlined and well-documented for future scalability.

Maintain existing and develop Business Process Management Notation (“BPMN”) diagrams and BPMs to map and optimize workflows. Visually represent complex processes and their interactions, making it easier for stakeholders to understand and manage workflows.

Coordinate the development by other resources, or as appropriate, complete business requirements for fixes, enhancements, or capital items related to SPRQ and or the Clearance application and submit them on a timely basis into our existing review processes for consideration and prioritization.

Support any proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions across the Clearance function, Brokerage Casualty UA Team or Business Services functions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping focus on priorities and deadlines.

The ability to adapt to changing business requirements, technology landscapes and process improvements in a demanding environment.

The ability to assist with business process improvement, optimization and data validation.

A working knowledge of commercial insurance policy administration systems (e.g., Duck Greek, Guidewire).
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS

Required: A bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college/university, with a major or coursework in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields.

Preferred: Substantive knowledge of the U.S. commercial insurance industry and its products.

Preferred: At least five (5) years of Project Management and/or Policy Life Cycle solution experience.

A Plus: Commercial Insurance certifications (e.g., AINS, CPCU).

A Plus: Project Management certifications.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position is hybrid and requires the ability and the willingness to work in an IFG Companies office at least three (3) days per week if residing within a one-hour commuting distance.

Physical demands are considered those of a climate-controlled office environment with minimal physical exertion.

Position requires prolonged sitting, extensive utilization of computers and interactions with others in person and via phone.

Position requires the ability and the willingness to travel when required to meet business needs.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $88,000 to $110,000. Additionally, the position may be eligible to earn incentive compensation.
