Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Engineering Room Care specialist, where you will be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing critical facility systems. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering rooms, supporting manufacturing processes, and upholding safety standards. You will leverage your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance expertise to keep our infrastructure running efficiently and reliably. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Conduct welding, residential painting, and other mechanical repairs as needed to maintain facility integrity.
- Manage facilities maintenance tasks including HVAC, plumbing, and structural repairs to uphold safety and compliance standards.
- Supervise maintenance activities, coordinate with contractors, and oversee team members to ensure timely completion of work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Lead safety initiatives by enforcing protocols, supervising work environments, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for accountability and continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong electrical experience with knowledge of schematics, PLC programming, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Skilled in mechanical repair techniques including welding and residential painting.
- Supervising experience leading maintenance teams or projects is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping.
- Ability to read technical diagrams such as schematics for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
