Job Description:
As a Construction Apprentice, you will be involved in fabrication and installing finishing surfaces such as tile, natural stone, terrazzo, and concrete. You’ll assist in all stages of countertop, tile, and flooring installation, ensuring adherence to manufacturer and architectural specifications. This position is ideal for those who are detail-oriented, hardworking, and eager to grow in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled tradespeople with project execution
- Prepare work sites: organize materials, tools, and assemble equipment
- Load, unload, and move materials to work areas
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment
- Follow strict safety protocols to prevent injuries
- Participate in job training and safety programs
- Travel to out-of-town job sites as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in construction or related labor preferred
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds using proper lifting techniques
- Ability to stand, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques
- Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel for work
