Final Phase is hiring for a dependable weekend cleaner for two recurring commercial accounts.
This position starts at $16.00 per hour and offers approximately 11 hours per weekend, with the possibility of additional hours as our company grows.
Current Schedule:
- Weekend industrial/manufacturing account: Approximately 8 hours between Saturday and Sunday daytime shifts
- Additional commercial account: 3 hours total, completed anytime between Friday evening and Sunday evening
Total weekend hours: approximately 11 hours
Reliable transportation is required because this position includes two different account locations in the Des Moines area.
Job Duties Include:
- Cleaning restrooms
- Cleaning breakrooms
- Sweeping and mopping
- Vacuuming
- Removing trash
- Restocking supplies
- Wiping surfaces
- General commercial/industrial cleaning
- Maintaining common areas
One account is an active manufacturing/industrial facility. PPE is required. All required PPE will be provided except steel toe boots/shoes.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and consistent
- Able to work independently after training
- Detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in a commercial/industrial setting
- Able to follow a written scope of work
- Able to communicate if supplies are low or issues come up
- Interested in long-term work and growing with the company
Additional weekday coverage may be available for the right person. We prefer someone who is open to cross-training and possibly covering shifts during the week when needed, but the main required schedule is weekends.
Experience with commercial cleaning, office cleaning, industrial cleaning, apartment turns, or janitorial work is helpful, but reliability and willingness to learn are most important.
