Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The primary role of this position is to serve as a forms developer and enterprise application support specialist, with primary responsibility for the Technology Inventory Management System (TIMS) and Softdocs. The position is responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting, administering, and supporting electronic forms, workflows, document management processes, technology inventory processes, code, integrations, and related business process solutions across UNCW.
The position provides technical support for enterprise applications, low-code/no-code solutions, and business process platforms, including Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, TeamDynamix , DocuSign, Automic Applications Manager, survey applications, emergency notification systems, AI interfaces such as Microsoft Copilot, ERP-related applications, web service APIs, reporting tools, and other applications acquired by the university.
The position works with university departments to gather requirements, may manage or participate in projects, document project plans, and serve as the technical liaison between clients, vendors, and ITS teams.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Four (4) years of related professional experience developing, administering, and supporting enterprise applications, electronic forms, workflow automation, document management systems, or related business application solutions.
- Experience gathering business requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting enterprise software applications.
- Experience working collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a higher education environment.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) systems.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Enterprise Systems Support focuses on support for enterprise-level applications including Banner along with other mission-critical applications and systems. Application development, reporting and Web services fall within this service portfolio.
Enterprise Systems Support (ESS) provides:
- Innovative, stable, cost effective and secure technical support and maintenance of enterprise solutions for the university.
- Day to day support for production applications and systems.
- Timely implementation of upgrades and releases.
- Development and analysis to support the operational requirements and mandates for production applications and systems.
