Overview
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Vinyl Installer to join our growing print and signage team. The ideal candidate has experience installing a wide variety of vinyl graphics, vehicle wraps, wall murals, window graphics, and large-format signage. This position requires excellent craftsmanship, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while delivering high-quality installations.
Responsibilities
- Install vinyl graphics on vehicles, windows, walls, floors, and various surfaces.
- Install banners, dimensional signs, ADA signs, acrylic signs, and other signage products.
- Prepare installation surfaces by cleaning, measuring, and ensuring proper alignment.
- Weed, mask, trim, laminate, and finish vinyl graphics for installation.
- Perform vehicle wrap installations, partial wraps, and vinyl lettering.
- Read work orders and production files to ensure accurate installations.
- Load, transport, and unload signage and installation materials safely.
- Use ladders, lifts, and installation tools while following all safety procedures.
- Conduct final quality inspections before completing each project.
- Maintain installation tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
- Assist in the production department during slower installation periods.
- Communicate professionally with customers on-site and represent the company positively.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience installing vinyl graphics or commercial signage preferred.
- Experience with vehicle wraps is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of materials including cast vinyl, calendared vinyl, perforated window film, wall graphics, and laminates.
- Ability to accurately measure, level, and align graphics.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends when project schedules require.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating large-format printers, laminators, or vinyl plotters.
- Familiarity with 3M, Avery Dennison, Oracal, and other commercial vinyl products.
- Experience with commercial building signage and trade show displays.
- Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW is a plus.
- OSHA or lift certification is a plus.
