Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure seamless service.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods and special events like banquets or catering functions.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment, preferably within fine dining or hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and spirits.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in food handling, food safety protocols, and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience with beverage recipe development or bartending management is a plus.
