JOB DESCRIPTION: Hall Company, Inc. is looking for hardworking and reliable Asphalt Crew Members to join our pavement maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about construction and roadwork to contribute to high-quality paving and pavement maintenance projects. As an Asphalt Crew Member, you will be responsible for supporting the daily tasks including, raking, shoveling, roller and mechanical compaction devices, sealcoating, striping maintenance of traffic and clean up ensuring the finished product meets specifications and company expectations.
Must have a clean driving record.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform manual labor, including placement of asphalt, sealcoating and striping.
* Operate equipment to achieve optimal finish and integrity.
* Maintain work areas by clearing debris and ensuring safety on-site.
* Work closely with team members to ensure seamless operations and efficient workflow.
* Perform routine checks and maintenance of tools and equipment.
* Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.
* Assist with other tasks as directed by the supervisor or foreman.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience in asphalt paving and pavement maintenance is preferred.
* Ability to handle physical labor in outdoor environments, including heat, cold, and varying weather conditions.
* Knowledge of basic asphalt tools and equipment is required.
* Strong work ethic, punctuality and the ability to work as part of a team.
* A valid driver’s license is required.
