We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Market Attendant to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring a positive and welcoming shopping experience by delivering excellent service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the market is well-stocked and organized. Light food prep is required, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable working with food and following food safety practices.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed
- Support customers with kiosk transactions, when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented checkout and front-of-house area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of market items
- Monitor product freshness and rotate stock as needed
- Provide support during deliveries and unloading of inventory
- Always follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
