We are seeking a passionate and skilled Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and service, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the Deli Manager, you will play a key role in our deli environment, utilizing your culinary skills and creativity to enhance our menu offerings while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Prepare and present high-quality food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Schedule building for staff.
- Order food products and retail products as business dictates.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and upselling menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management, including food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform bussing duties to maintain a tidy dining space for guests.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail transactions.
Requirements
- Previous Management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
- Experience with cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of retail math for effective sales tracking and inventory management.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when needed.
- A passion for the food industry, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the deli environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
