Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, respectful, and compassionate in home worker to support a woman with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) who uses a wheelchair. This role focuses primarily on assistance with household chores and general home upkeep to support independence, comfort, and quality of life.
Schedule & Flexibility:
- Up to 10 hours per week
- Flexible days and times (weekday availability preferred, but open to discussion)
- Great opportunity for someone looking for part-time, supplemental income
Primary Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping (dishes, laundry, sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces)
- Organizing and tidying common areas
- Trash and recycling removal
- Basic home upkeep tasks as needed
- Supporting routines that promote independence and a clean, safe living environment
- Communicating respectfully and following client preferences
What This Role Is Not:
- No medical care required
- No lifting or transfers
- No personal care (unless discussed and agreed upon separately)
