Dental Practice Front Desk Administrator; Experience Required!
We are seeking a highly professional, reliable, outgoing, Front Desk Admin / Receptionists with prior dental practice admin experience to join our dental team. We are looking for a SOLID Dental Team Member! The Admin / Receptionist will be the first point of contact for patients, providing an exceptional and highly-positive Patient experience while simultaneously managing multiple administrative tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice and maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling, ensuring efficient use of the dentist's time while accommodating patient needs.
- Conduct insurance verification and handle dental billing inquiries.
- Review Patient documents to ensure accuracy and completeness before visits.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations, utilizing dental terminology as needed.
- Answer phone calls with friendly, positive, and professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing patient inquiries or concerns.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing Patient correspondence.
- Utilize software systems Open Dental and Weave for scheduling Patient appointments and for Patient documentation purposes.
- Assist the dental team by preparing materials for patient appointments.

- Prior experience working in a dental practice and having strong understanding of dental terminology and Open Dental is required.
- A proven outgoing, professional, and positive personality is a must!
- Proficiency in effectively managing front desk administrative operations, including positively greeting and communicating with Patients, effectively handling multi-line phone systems, and ability to efficiently multi-task.
- Experience performing dental insurance verification processes is strongly preferred!
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to pay close attention to details.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
- Expertise with scheduling and managing patients in OpenDental, is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
