Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrating features and benefits to encourage purchases
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and retail math skills
- Manage cash management duties including balancing registers and handling cash with precision
- Support banking functions such as deposit processing or financial software entry when applicable
- Handle loan processing or financial service inquiries by explaining options clearly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor to ensure an inviting shopping environment and easy product access
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, banking, or customer service roles preferred
- Strong basic math skills including retail math and 10 key typing proficiency for accurate transactions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist diverse customers and explain financial products
- Ability to perform cash handling duties accurately while managing cash management procedures
- Familiarity with financial software systems used for transactions and record keeping is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately under pressure
- A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for helping customers find solutions and achieve satisfaction
