As a Residential Construction Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the construction process, responsible for leading residential remodeling projects from planning to completion. You will oversee subcontractors, manage timelines and materials, ensure high-quality workmanship, and deliver exceptional client experiences that reflect the values of CQC Home. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making homes more beautiful, functional, and meaningful.
**We are seeking candidates who currently reside in the Triangle area and can commute daily to our office, located at 5102 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd, Suite 100, Durham, NC 27707. This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM**
What You Will Accomplish:

Plan and manage project schedules, job logs, photos, and communications using our CRM.

Coordinate and oversee subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality work.

Identify and flag scope changes before work begins.

Perform jobsite prep and maintain clean, safe working conditions throughout.

Ensure materials are ordered and delivered on schedule.

Adhere to building codes and coordinate inspections.

Provide skilled labor when needed (e.g., framing, trim, cabinetry, finishing work).

Lead and supervise all trades across project phases, from demo through punch-out.

Follow and enforce company processes, safety standards, and quality controls.
Qualifications for This Role:

Experience: 5+ years in a residential construction-related field, 2+ years managing job sites.

Education: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.

Mechanical Skills: Ability to work with a variety of tools and machines.

Math Skills: Ability to measure materials to be cut and installed.

Detail Oriented: Ability to be very precise, measure distances and item sizes accurately, and maintain a strong eye for detail.

Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to solve problems when issues arise in a project and foresee them before they occur.

Leadership: Ability to coach, develop, and motivate people.

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and teams.
