About Us
NewPath is the residential electrical service brand for Icon West Corporation, an established electrical contractor serving the region since 1997.
As we continue expanding our residential service division, we are looking for a motivated, organized, and resourceful individual to help grow our customer base, manage incoming opportunities, strengthen our online presence, and develop new sources of residential electrical work.
This is not simply a social media position. Or an independent business partnership between contractor and marketing agency/pay for services or sales packages. We are looking for someone who enjoys finding opportunities, communicating with customers, researching new ways to generate business, following up with prospective customers, and helping turn marketing activity into booked electrical work. Position Overview
The Lead Generation & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the growth of our residential electrical service division from initial lead generation through customer follow-up.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, communicates professionally, is highly organized, understands social media and online platforms, and is willing to actively search for new business opportunities rather than simply waiting for leads to arrive.
The position will begin part-time with approximately 10–20 hours per week. There is potential for increased hours, compensation, responsibilities, and advancement based on performance and company growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Business Development
- Actively identify new residential electrical leads throughout our service area.
- Research and identify new lead-generation websites, directories, community platforms, and referral opportunities.
- Maintain company profiles on approved lead-generation platforms.
- Monitor local online communities for homeowners seeking electricians or electrical services.
- Identify opportunities involving EV chargers, electrical troubleshooting, lighting, panel upgrades, service upgrades, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, renovations, and other residential electrical projects.
- Research potential referral relationships with property managers, realtors, home inspectors, general contractors, HVAC companies, plumbers, remodelers, EV-related businesses, and other complementary service providers.
- Conduct professional outreach to potential referral partners.
- Maintain an organized database of lead sources and business-development opportunities.
Incoming Lead Management
- Monitor approved company lead channels throughout scheduled working hours.
- Respond promptly and professionally to new customer inquiries.
- Gather preliminary customer and project information.
- Obtain project photos and other information when appropriate.
- Determine the customer’s location, requested service, timeframe, and basic project details.
- Maintain accurate lead records.
- Identify high-priority opportunities requiring immediate owner attention.
- Assist with moving qualified customers toward estimate appointments.
Lead & Estimate Follow-Up
- Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective customers.
- Follow up with customers who have received estimates but have not made a decision.
- Re-engage older residential leads when appropriate.
- Follow up with prospective customers who previously inquired but did not schedule.
- Maintain clear statuses for leads, including:
New → Contacted → Qualified → Scheduled → Estimate Sent → Follow-Up → Won/Lost
- Ensure promising opportunities do not become lost because of missed or delayed follow-up.
Online Business Profile Management
- Monitor and maintain approved company business profiles.
- Keep company information, service information, photos, and other profile content current.
- Upload approved photographs from completed projects.
- Help organize project photographs for future marketing use.
- Monitor customer reviews.
- Draft professional responses to reviews for approval when necessary.
- Identify inaccurate information, profile problems, or other issues requiring attention.
Customer Reviews & Reputation
- Maintain a list of customers eligible to receive review requests.
- Send approved review requests following successfully completed projects.
- Conduct appropriate follow-up when customers have not yet left a review.
- Track reviews generated from outreach.
- Help strengthen the company’s online reputation through consistent customer follow-up and genuine customer feedback.
Social Media & Content
- Create simple, professional content using photographs and information from actual completed electrical projects.
- Develop posts highlighting completed work, services, company capabilities, and useful homeowner information.
- Maintain a consistent company image and professional brand presentation.
- Assist with maintaining a regular posting schedule on approved platforms.
This position is focused on business generation first and social media second. The primary purpose of content is to increase credibility, visibility, customer engagement, and ultimately generate additional business.
Lead Source & Performance Tracking
The coordinator will maintain records showing where company leads originate and how those leads perform.
Information tracked may include:
- Lead source
- Number of inquiries
- Qualified leads
- Appointments scheduled
- Estimates completed
- Jobs won
- Jobs lost
- Revenue associated with successful leads
- Advertising or lead-platform costs
- Customer acquisition costs
The objective is to help management determine which marketing channels produce profitable electrical work and where additional resources should be invested.
Typical Daily Responsibilities
A typical workday may include:
Lead Monitoring & ResponseReview new inquiries, respond to customers, update lead statuses, and identify urgent opportunities.
Active Lead Generation Search approved online platforms and local communities for residential electrical opportunities and research new sources of business.
Customer Follow-Up: Follow up on outstanding estimates, previous inquiries, older leads, and review requests.
Online Profile & Marketing Management
Update profiles, organize/upload project photos, prepare content, monitor reviews, and maintain company information.
Business Development
Research and contact potential referral partners, property managers, contractors, real-estate professionals, and other organizations capable of generating recurring electrical work.
Weekly Reporting
The coordinator will provide a brief weekly summary covering items such as:
- New leads generated
- Qualified leads
- Appointments booked
- Estimates scheduled
- Jobs won
- Revenue attributable to tracked leads
- Previous leads reactivated
- Customer reviews generated
- Referral partners contacted
- New marketing opportunities identified
- Lead/advertising expenditures
- Best-performing lead sources
- Areas requiring management attention
Ideal Candidate

Experience with marketing, customer service, lead generation, CRM systems, social media, sales, home services, or the construction industry is helpful but not necessarily required.

Compensation & Schedule
- Starting compensation: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Approximately 10–20 hours per week initially.
- Performance-based bonuses may be available based on measurable results and company growth.
