Overview
Join the Event Rentals Operations Team and play a key role in bringing events to life. As an Event Logistics Technician, you'll be responsible for loading, unloading, transporting, setting up, and tearing down rental equipment for weddings, festivals, corporate events, and special occasions. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires teamwork, problem-solving, and a strong work ethic. Every day is different, and you'll take pride in creating professional event spaces while working both in our warehouse and at event venues throughout the region.
Duties
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event equipment to include tents, stages, dance floors, tables, chairs, etc.
- Ensure all setup tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule to meet event timelines.
- Collaborate with team members and event coordinators to understand specific setup requirements and special requests.
- Operate tools and equipment such as hand trucks, ladders, and basic power tools safely and responsibly.
- Conduct quality checks on all setup elements to verify they meet safety standards and aesthetic expectations.
- Ability to follow directions and pre developed plans to execute tasks up to expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during setup and breakdown processes.
- Support other team members in troubleshooting setup issues quickly to keep the event on track.
- Communicate with management and team members throughout the day to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and carry 50–75 pounds, with team lifting for heavier items.
- Load and unload trucks throughout the day.
- Assemble and disassemble tents, tables, chairs, dance floors, staging, and other event equipment.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
- Comfortable using hand tools and working in a physically demanding environment.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
