Are you a fast, creative editor who can make scroll-stopping VFX content look effortless? We're hiring a short-form Editor / VFX Creator to join our in-house team at VFX Creators.
You'll start with a paid one-week trial. If it's a great fit, this grows into a stable part-time role with real earning potential through performance bonuses and future full-time potential.
We teach tens of thousands of creators and entrepreneurs how to make professional VFX content using their phones. Our content reaches millions. We need someone who can bring those effects to life for our marketing, ads, and social media accounts.
YOUR ROLE
You'll create short-form VFX videos across three areas:
- Marketing hooks and ads for Instagram and Facebook
- Visual effects content for our social media pages
- Tutorial edits that teach our audience how to recreate effects
Expect roughly 3 to 5 deliverables per week to start. As we build a rhythm together, volume and pay grow with it.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in Premiere Pro or comparable software. After Effects and Photoshop are a huge plus. Familiarity with CapCut is a plus.
- You work fast under pressure and find shortcuts without sacrificing quality
- Organized, detail-oriented, and coachable
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Available to overlap with US business hours for async communication
- This is a fully remote role open to applicants worldwide. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and locations.
We are not looking for perfectionists. We want someone who moves quickly, makes decisions, and delivers.
THE TRIAL
Before anything becomes official, we run a paid one-week trial.
You'll complete four VFX hooks and one tutorial edit. It's not a full workweek. It's a structured evaluation with a clear scope and a clear finish line. Trial compensation is flexible based on experience. The $200 is a starting point, not a ceiling.
Here's the twist: before you start, you'll submit time estimates for each deliverable. We'll compare those to your actual time. This is not a trap. It's how we find people who know themselves, communicate clearly, and can work efficiently under real conditions.
If you fall behind, we want to know before the deadline. Not after.
COMPENSATION
If your work scales, you earn more.
- $100 when a full ad (hook + body) hits active scaling
- $30 each time a new hook enters our testing rotation
On top of that, you'll have a monthly retainer for part-time work (approx. 5 hrs/day), with potential to grow into a full-time role. Compensation is based on experience and background and is discussed during the offer stage.
