Full-Time Remote Patient Scheduler
Capital Dermatology of NC is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Scheduler to join our growing team. This is a full-time remote position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring our providers' schedules are optimized.
Position Details

- Schedule:Tuesday –Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments accurately.
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
- Communicate appointment policies, preparation instructions, and office procedures.
- Coordinate provider schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Respond to patient inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Manage appointment waitlists and fill cancellations promptly.
- Assist with patient recalls and follow-up scheduling.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of medical scheduling or medical receptionist experience preferred.
- Dermatology experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable using EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace.
- Professional phone etiquette with exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
