Duties
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify prospective clients and expand our customer base through community outreach, networking events, and telemarketing efforts.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess insurance needs and provide clear explanations of policy options.
- Negotiate coverage terms and premium rates to meet client expectations while ensuring compliance with insurance regulations.
- Manage sales administration tasks using CRM systems to track leads, follow-ups, and policy details efficiently.
- Build strong customer relationships through consistent communication, personalized service, and follow-up support.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and regulatory changes related to property, and casualty insurance.
- Assist clients with benefits administration and claims processes while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication abilities to effectively convey complex insurance concepts.
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products as well as property, and casualty insurance policies.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and analysis purposes.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively.
- Understanding of insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements is essential.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term client relationships.
