On behalf of and under the supervision of our commercial and residential pool building client, the Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of field operations for building pools. This position will drive business growth, ensure operationally efficiency, and implement strategic initiatives.
Below is a list of key responsibilities of this position. This is not an all-inclusive list and is intended to be a high-level overview.
- Continually learn and improve the processes of building a pool to company standards and understand the compliance requirements of pool building
- Understand and fine tune the operational processes via DBX (the Company's Customer Relationship Management software)
- Work with the city or county on necessary documents and/or permits required for the project
- Work with the customer on any necessary drawings/design and request files as needed
- Work with the Company President on all design and operational checklists prior to the work being completed
- Work with customer and confirm all submittals are approved prior to starting construction
- Oversee all field operations, including quality control
- Work in partnership with General Contractors, Landscape Architect’s, and homeowners throughout the build process to ensure a successful project
- Organize communications and necessary documents for all parties involved in the build process
- Schedule all sub-contractors and remain in constant communication with them regarding schedules
- Communicate all necessary details on the project to sub-contractors
- Maintain effective communication and working relationship with customers and third party partners
- Quality control over the project including but not limited to materials, cleanliness, company standards, etc.
- Frequent on-site visits to each project to ensure the project is going smoothly and to identify any potential issues
- Organization and Daily input of Daily Tasks via Shared Note with Company President
- Punch out jobs and communicate with sub-contractors on any necessary items to be completed
- Assist with the warranty process
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Training, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements:
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, or the pool industry
- Ability to work efficiently in the field
- Ability to prioritize time and tasks
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Proficient communication skills, verbal and written
- Experience leading indirect teams
- Experience working within a budget
- Experience using DBX, a plus but not required
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, a plus but not required
- Due to the nature of the job, the Project Manager must be physically able to sit, stand, walk pool build projects, bend, carry items up to 100 lbs., legally drive, and work with his/her hands on the projects
- Must be able to walk on uneven ground with obstacles in muddy conditions for multiple hours at a time.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
