We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant with 3+ years of clinical and prosthodontic experience to support advanced restorative and surgical procedures. Job Responsibilities – Prosthodontics Dental Assistant (3+ Years Experience)
- Prosthodontics Dental Assistant Chairside Assistance for Advanced Procedures:
- Assist the prosthodontist during complex cases, including implant surgeries, hybrid prostheses, crown and bridge placements, full and partial dentures and overdentures.
- Confidently support procedures such as extractions, bone grafting, abutment placement and conversion of prosthetics during All-on-X surgeries.
- Prosthodontics Dental Assistant Digital Dentistry & Imaging:
- Operate intraoral scanners (e.g., iTero, Trios) for digital impressions.
- Capture and process diagnostic X-rays, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos for treatment planning.
- Prosthodontics Dental Assistant Surgical Preparation & Post-Operative Care:
- Set up and break down surgical operatories following strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Prepare and sterilize surgical trays including torque wrenches, implant kits and surgical handpieces.
- Provide post-op care instructions and monitor patients during recovery.
- Prosthodontics Dental Assistant Patient Interaction & Education:
- Ensure a calm and professional patient experience before, during and after procedures.
- Prosthodontics Dental Assistant Team Support:
- Collaborate with front office and clinical team to ensure efficient scheduling and case tracking.
- Participate in training and continuing education to stay current with prosthodontics innovations and tools.
