Janitorial Contractor
Location: Winston Salem, NC Position Type: Independent Contractor (1099) Schedule: Day Position
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Independent Contractor to provide janitorial service for a retail location in Winston Salem. Work includes daily cleaning of entrances, sales floor, restrooms, and back of house areas, plus periodic deep cleaning tasks, following a set service checklist.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean glass, doors, and entrance areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum sales floor and common areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock supplies
- Empty trash throughout the facility
- Operate auto scrubber and standard cleaning equipment
- Complete periodic deep cleaning tasks (grout, vents, glass above 8 feet, receiving area)
- Complete and initial the service checklist for each visit
Requirements
- Prior commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to the Winston Salem location
- Able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Able to work independently and manage own schedule within agreed service windows
- Willing to sign an independent contractor service agreement
Contract Terms
- Competitive contract pay based on scope
- Supplies and equipment provided
- 1099 engagement; contractor handles own tax reporting
Pay: $100.00 - $900.00 per month
