Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to maintain impeccable standards.
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless and safe.
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and service corridors to uphold overall hotel hygiene standards.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed, including industrial cleaning tasks when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and custodial practices.
- Prior hotel or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and guest service.
