Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Direct to Garment (DTG) Production Specialist to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining DTG printing equipment to produce high-quality custom garments efficiently. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Direct to Garment printers, ensuring optimal calibration and print quality for each batch of garments
- Prepare garments by inspecting fabric, loading designs, and managing color profiles for accurate printing results
- Maintain and troubleshoot DTG equipment, including cleaning print heads, replacing parts, and performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with design and production teams to interpret artwork files and execute precise garment printing processes
- Monitor production schedules to meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
- Conduct quality control checks on printed garments, verifying color accuracy, print alignment, and durability before packaging
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols related to machinery operation and handling textiles
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair DTG printers and related equipment
- Warehouse experience including heavy lifting, inventory management, and safe handling of textiles and printing supplies
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, sewing techniques, and assembly processes for apparel manufacturing
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments that require adherence to safety standards in construction or machining settings
