Creative Services Project Manager (Contract position)
Decca is a Creative Agency that partners with leading technology companies. We help clients bring complex ideas to life through strategic planning, messaging, presentation design, digital experiences, multimedia, and creative campaigns.
We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Creative Services Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis (20–30 hours per week). This role is ideal for a versatile agency professional who enjoys coordinating projects, solving problems, managing details, and keeping teams moving forward in a fast-paced environment.
You'll work closely with account managers, designers, and writers to ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope, and align with client expectations.
This role is best suited for a hands-on team member who is comfortable moving between project management, production coordination, quality control, and operational support as needs evolve. Success in this role requires flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed to help the team deliver exceptional work.
This is a remote position with occasional scheduled onsite meetings in the San Jose area.
Responsibilities include:
· Coordinate the development of presentations, digital content, campaigns, and other creative deliverables from kickoff through final delivery
· Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and status reports
· Partner with account managers to manage project scope, budgets, and resource allocation
· Serve as a central point of communication among account managers, creative teams, and external partners
· Review deliverables for accuracy, brand compliance, and adherence to client requirements
· Identify project risks and proactively recommend solutions
· Support process improvements and operational best practices
· Maintain project documentation, files, and time tracking within agency systems
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
· 3–5+ years of project management, production, account coordination, or related agency experience
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
· Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority
· Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
· Exceptional organizational abilities, with a focus on prioritization, time management, and problem solving
· Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required to support client deadlines
