Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality standards within the facility. This role requires strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
Duties
- Supervise daily production activities and manage a team of production workers to ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Train new employees on proper manufacturing techniques, safety protocols, and the use of machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and quality control measures.
- Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, and performance.
Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing facility.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience operating forklifts is preferred; certification may be required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics within the production environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
