Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, reception areas, and other designated spaces within commercial facilities
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and supplies to ensure surfaces are sanitized, dust-free, and spotless
- Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent standards of hygiene
- Dispose of waste responsibly and recycle materials according to company policies
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning tasks
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
- Show kindness and respect to those around you establishing the example of how to treat one another in the day to day.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety protocols is advantageous
