Woodworking - Finisher
Prepares wooden loudspeaker enclosures for painting and removes/fills surface defects and applies round-overs to corners/edges.
Position Duties:
- Prepares work by studying work instructions, drawings and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.
- Mixes putties, bondo, and other materials as per instructions.
- Uses pneumatic sanders to create smooth, finished surfaces.
- Uses hand routers to apply round-overs.
- Uses fixtures, templates etc. to assist as needed.
- Fills and smooth cracks, depressions, staple/brad holes.
- Remove/fill other marks and surface imperfections.
Position Requirements:
- Experience with woodworking/wood finishing.
- Experienced with hand tools, electrical tools and pneumatic tools.
- Good communication skills. Able to convey instructions to others.
We will train/cross train individuals as needed.
