Job Summary
We take Lawn Care and Customer Service seriously at Bison Lawns and are seeking an individual with the same passion for helping homeowners create a better lawn. We are searching for a highly motivated, mechanically inclined individual for our Turf Care Specialist/Shop Manager role. This role will be responsible for maintaining, growing and caring for a route of Turf Care clients. You will also be responsible for managing our shop, which includes maintaining and repairing equipment, taking deliveries and running our Lawn Mower Winterization department in the winter months.
Scope of Position
- Retain, maintain, grow and manage a route of Turf Care Clients.
- Proper application of fertilizer, weed control and other lawn treatments.
- Proper use of spreaders, sprayers and overseeding equipment.
- Management of Lawn Mower Winterization service in the winter months.
- Maintenance and repair of company equipment.
- Shop organization.
- Qualified candidates will receive extensive training of all products, treatments and customer service aspects required for this position.
Qualifications
This position is not for everyone. You will wear many hats and have various responsibilities to ensure our lawns and clients are taken care of in a highly professional manner. We will only select and interview candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Superior customer service, strong communication skills and detail oriented.
- Strong computer proficiency and use of CRM Software Platforms, E-Mail, Routing Software, Word Documents and Excel Spreadsheets.
- High integrity individual with eagerness to learn and grow in our industry.
- Self starter who is passionate about working outdoors.
- Previous lawn care experience preferred but not required.
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to maintain and repair company equipment. This will include knowledge of small engine maintenance and repair.
- Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs throughout the day.
- Ability to walk long distances in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license

Pay
- Qualified candidates will be offered a starting salary between $50,000 - $70,000 plus performance based incentives. Potential to earn up to $80,000 per year after incentives.
