PLEASE READ THIS FIRST. I want the right person to see themselves in this
MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
MUST HAVE SOME FOOD/ BEV EXPERIENCE
Who we are:
We're a tiny, local, small-batch frozen yogurt popup here in New Orleans. Clean-label, simple ingredients, seasonal flavors, house-made sauces & toppings, fair-trade & craft chocolate. IG: stellysfroyo
We currently operate in a 10 ft vintage camper down on the Batture by the river, and now we're jumping into another POP UP LOCATION, taking over a bar space inside a boutique hotel in the Garden District. The takeover begins around August 1. I need someone who can hop between both spaces.
What you'd actually be doing
- flexible with working at the river until we open the pop up
- Operate our commercial-grade frozen yogurt machine (it's not hard, I'll train you).
- Oversee some prep: we'll coordinate this and prob do everything for both spots on the same day, but yogurt, sauces, portioning toppings, etc.
- Handle inventory, rotating stock, noticing what we're low on, texting/calling me what we need
- Run Clover POS during service
- Keep food safety tight: follow health regs, make sure everything stays clean and handled right.
- Create that warm, welcoming Stelly's vibe THIS IS SO IMPORTANT I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. friendly, outgoing, personable, you like to talk to people, your curious about people, you like food and appreciate crafted product.
Who I'm hoping to find
- You've got some real operational/food/hospitality experience (doesn't have to be froyo-specific).
- You're personable, outgoing, quick with a smile
- You actually care about good food and get why someone would choose small-batch organic homemade over McDonald's soft serve.
- You love a project!! you're a problem-solver who sees "we're growing fast and everything's happening at once" and thinks "hell yeah, let's do this."
- You have some free bandwidth right now and want to dive head-first into something new and exciting.
If this sounds like your kind of thing – even if you're not 100% sure about every piece – shoot me a message. Tell me a little about you, what you've done before, why Stelly's caught your eye. Let's chat.
if youve read all of this, do me a huge favor and email me directly at [email protected] to set up an interview!
Can't wait to hear from you!
