What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting security-related activity.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining a professional presence in high-traffic healthcare areas.

Support medical location operations by assisting with de-escalation, observing for security-related concerns, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or first responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card and/or license as required.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
