Beverage Service: Provide impeccable beverage service to guests, showcasing your expertise in crafting artisanal cocktails, premium spirits, and wine selections. Present the menu confidently, offer recommendations, and ensure a flawless dining experience.
Menu Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the beverage menu, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and pairings. Educate guests about the intricacies of the menu, answering questions and making personalized suggestions based on their preferences.
Mixology and Presentation: Prepare and present cocktails with precision, creativity, and a keen aesthetic sense. Execute classic and contemporary mixology techniques to deliver visually appealing and flavorful drinks that exceed guest expectations.
Customer Engagement: Interact with guests in a gracious and hospitable manner, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, engaging in conversations to build rapport and elevate their dining experience.
Order Taking: Accurately take drink orders, ensuring correct preparation and presentation. Communicate orders promptly to the bar team and collaborate closely with them to maintain a seamless flow of service.
Upselling and Recommending: Skillfully promote premium beverages, wine pairings, and special promotions to enhance guest enjoyment and increase revenue. Utilize your expertise to guide guests toward unique and delightful choices.
Table Maintenance: Ensure that each table is impeccably set, clean, and well-stocked with appropriate glassware, garnishes, and tools. Monitor table turnover to optimize service efficiency while maintaining an elegant presentation.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate harmoniously with fellow servers, bartenders, chefs, and other staff members to provide synchronized and exceptional service. Communicate effectively to ensure smooth coordination during busy service periods.
Knowledge of Policies: Adhere to all restaurant policies, including alcohol service regulations and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, upholding health and sanitation standards.
Guest Feedback: Actively seek and respond to guest feedback, both positive and constructive, to continually enhance the dining experience. Adapt and improve your service based on guest preferences and suggestions.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Cocktail Server or Bartender in a high-end or fine dining establishment is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage knowledge.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing exceptional guest service.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining grace and composure.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accurate order taking and precise execution of cocktails.
- Knowledge of wine and spirits, including proper storage, serving temperatures, and pairings.
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for food and beverage handling.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
