What You Will Do:
Job Qualifications:
· High school diploma,
· some electrical/mechanical experience preferred
· Valid driver’s license with the expectation of obtaining a chauffeur’s accreditation, with a clean driving record.
· An understanding of warehouse material flow processes and experience working with integrated computer and scanner processes preferred.
· Must have a positive attitude with good communication skills, must be a team player always willing to lend a helping hand.
· Must have the aptitude and the desire to keep learning every day.
Physical Demands:
· Vision correctible to 20/20
· Normal hearing.
· Constant lifting and walking throughout the shift, required to lift up to 75 pounds.
· Most of the day, you will be on your feet.
· Loading and unloading material.
Equipment used for Job Performance:
· Delivery vehicles up to 24’ long truck
· forklift
· RF scanner
· computer CRT and printers
· Cell phone
· hand carts
· pallet jacks.
Work Schedule: 5-day workweek, eight-hour shift, with some overtime possibly required to meet customer and company needs. Shifts are determined by the warehouse supervisor.
Job Tasks &Expectations:
- To accurately and proficiently handle the receiving of material from suppliers
- To accurately and proficiently put material away in the correct location
- To fill and package customer orders with complete accuracy and professionalism
- To be able to take delivery routes and run those efficiently using the processes set up by the company (proof of delivery).
- Must be able to meet company expectations in performing all tasks and must be able to follow company work instructions correctly and consistently.
- To go through a lot of different types of process and product training and to be able to absorb that knowledge and apply it to your job.
- To constantly come up with ways that the company can continuously improve our processes and service to our customers.
